This solo exhibition brings together a selection of Damien Boyer-Gibaud's photographic work exploring femininity, sensuality and the body. Moving between glamour and art nude photography, his images play with presence, gesture, intimacy and suggestion — revealing without showing everything, leaving space for imagination and desire. Conceived as a journey through WAX Bar, the exhibition gradually unfolds throughout the venue, from the entrance and ground floor to the staircase and upper space. Works previously exhibited in Paris are presented alongside more recent photographs, offering a broader perspective on his evolving photographic work.

Cette exposition personnelle réunit une sélection du travail photographique de Damien Boyer-Gibaud autour de la féminité, de la sensualité et du corps. Entre photographie glamour et nu artistique, ses images jouent avec la présence, le geste, l'intimité et la suggestion — dévoiler sans tout montrer, en laissant une place à l'imaginaire et au désir. Pensée comme un parcours à travers le WAX Bar, l'exposition se dévoile progressivement de l'entrée et du rez-de-chaussée jusqu'à l'escalier et l'espace à l'étage. Des œuvres précédemment exposées à Paris côtoient des photographies plus récentes, offrant un regard plus large sur l'évolution de son travail photographique.

Located on Nantes' Quai des Antilles, WAX Bar is entering a new chapter, with the ambition of opening the venue to a broader audience and developing new cultural and artistic projects. With its ground-floor bar and a large upper space featuring a mezzanine bar, the venue offers an unusual setting for the exhibition. The September show is part of this new direction, transforming the different spaces of WAX into a photographic journey.

Situé quai des Antilles à Nantes, le WAX Bar entame un nouveau chapitre, avec la volonté d'ouvrir le lieu à un public plus large et d'y développer de nouveaux projets culturels et artistiques. Avec son bar au rez-de-chaussée et son vaste espace à l'étage doté d'un bar en mezzanine, le lieu offre un cadre singulier à l'exposition. L'événement de septembre s'inscrit dans cette nouvelle dynamique, en transformant les différents espaces du WAX en parcours photographique.
