RESILIENCIA ’26 explores resilience not only as resistance, but as the ability to transform, adapt and remain present through vulnerability and change. Bringing together international artists at BUAT Gallery in Barcelona, the exhibition approaches resilience through different experiences of the body, identity and human sensitivity.

For this exhibition, Damien Boyer-Gibaud presents a selection of works from his ongoing exploration of the female body. Through gesture, posture, fragments of skin and the interplay of light and shadow, his photographs reveal a body that can be vulnerable and assertive, exposed and withdrawn, intimate and powerful.

Here, resilience is not illustrated literally. It emerges through tension and contradiction: in what the body reveals and what it withholds, in moments of abandonment or control, and in the emotional space between exposure and protection. The images invite the viewer to look beyond nudity itself and consider the body as a territory of experience, projection and transformation.

RESILIENCIA ’26 explore la résilience non seulement comme une forme de résistance, mais comme une capacité à se transformer, à s’adapter et à rester présent à travers la vulnérabilité et le changement. Réunissant des artistes internationaux à la BUAT Gallery de Barcelone, l’exposition aborde la résilience à travers différentes expériences du corps, de l’identité et de la sensibilité humaine.

Pour cette exposition, Damien Boyer-Gibaud présente une sélection d’œuvres issues de son travail autour du corps féminin. À travers le geste, la posture, les fragments de peau et le jeu de la lumière et de l’ombre, ses photographies donnent à voir un corps tour à tour vulnérable et affirmé, exposé et en retrait, intime et puissant.

Ici, la résilience n’est pas illustrée littéralement. Elle apparaît dans la tension et la contradiction : entre ce que le corps révèle et ce qu’il retient, dans les moments d’abandon ou de maîtrise, et dans l’espace émotionnel qui se crée entre exposition et protection. Les images invitent à regarder au-delà de la nudité elle-même pour envisager le corps comme un territoire d’expérience, de projection et de transformation.
